About Us
Our Mission
CCBM is dedicated to providing the highest ideals of sportsmanship, fair play, honest competition, conservation, and education of our youth in the pursuit of bass fishing. We will accomplish this by adhering to the rules of our parent organization, B.A.S.S. Nation. We will also practice respect and understanding for all of our members at all times. We will share our fishing experiences openly with all fellow CCBM members in order to create an atmosphere of learning and to further the skills and knowledge of all our members.
Our History
The Delaware County Bass Club was started in 1976 as the Delaware County Bass Ambassadors and has been active continuously since that year.
The Chester County Club came about in 2004 as Chester County Bass Masters
We merged the 2 clubs in 2010, kept the Chester County name and have grown to be one of the largest True Bass Clubs in the Tri State Region.
Currently...
CCBM belongs to B.A.S.S. Nation.
"Since 1968, groups of bass fishermen throughout the United States and the world have joined to create grass roots B.A.S.S. clubs with one common goal — to learn how to become better bass fishermen. "
"The B.A.S.S. Nation is a global network of locally organized clubs whose members participate in and support a range of activities, including tournaments, conservation initiatives and youth programs. Three competitors, who qualify through a rigorous series of local and regional tournaments and then the national championship, advance to bass fishing’s biggest stage, the Bassmaster Classic."
